Who is Liquid Blonde for?
The PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde range is designed for blondes with natural and dyed, caramel, honey and golden blonde hair.
The regime begins with our two colour care treatments, specifically formulated to enhance your hair colour by adding warming golden pigments to boost your blonde and add an intense gloss finish in just one wash!
When will I see results?
The PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde Colour Infusion Shampoo offers visible results in just one wash! It contains golden pigments that instantly boost your warm blonde colour. Finish with PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde Gloss Intensifying Conditioner for an instant, high gloss finish. Two applications a week is perfect to keep your blonde hair looking beautiful. We also recommend using PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde Colour Care Shampoo and Conditioner for a daily hair care regime to help maintain blonde hair colour and prevent it from dulling. Individual results may vary.
Is Liquid Blonde a hair dye?
No, PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde is not a hair dye, but the Liquid Blonde Colour Infusion Shampoo is a temporary hair colouring shampoo. It contains Golden Blonde pigments which temporarily sit on the surface of the hair, as opposed to permanent and semi-permanent hair dyes which penetrate the hair shaft and ‘lock’ colour inside.
I have recently coloured my hair - when can I start to use Liquid Blonde?
We recommend not using the PRO:VOKE Colour Infusion Shampoo for 2 weeks after having hair coloured, dyed or bleached. It is also advisable to leave the product on for only 2 to 3 minutes, rather than the full 5 minutes for the first wash. Colouring and bleaching hair can make it porous so if you use the PRO:VOKE Colour Infusion Shampoo after dyeing, the results may be a little uneven which could give a slight patchy look. In between washes, we recommend using the PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde Colour Care Shampoo and Conditioner for every day hair care.
Can I use Liquid Blonde on hair extensions?
The main concern with using any product on hair extensions is that the solvents can dissolve the glue that binds the extensions to your hair. The ingredients of concern are alcohol as well as silicones. As PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde products do not contain either ingredient, the products should be fine to use on hair extensions. However, the range has not been specifically tested on hair extensions. Therefore we would strongly recommend doing a strand test.
Are Liquid Blonde products safe to use when pregnant?
None of the products in the PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde range affect the development of the baby therefore they are safe to use when pregnant.
How Is This Product Different To Touch Of Silver?
PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde has been specifically designed for blondes with natural and dyed, warm and honey blonde highlighted hair. Touch of Silver’s products contain an active violet pigment to neutralise yellow or brassy tones and is for those with platinum, white and grey hair.
The PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde range contains Golden Blonde Pigments that are used to boost and enhance blonde tones, not for neutralisation of any colours.
What should I do if I think I may have reacted to the product?
PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde is only in contact with your hair and scalp for a short time and it is therefore extremely unlikely that you will have an adverse reaction to any of the product’s ingredients. However, if you do experience problems such as skin or scalp itching, discontinue use immediately. If you experience a skin or scalp rash, swelling to eyes/face, blistering after use or on the following days, you must seek immediate medical advice. We recommend undergoing a patch test before first use.
Are your products tested on animals?
Godrej UK Limited, the brand owner of PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde is, and always has been, committed to not testing any of our products on animals. It is mandatory under EU law that cosmetics sold in Europe are not tested on animals and we abide by this regulation. As part of this regulation, Godrej UK does not test any of its cosmetic ingredients or cosmetic products on animals, nor do we get a third party to test on our behalf. Some countries’ regulations (i.e. China) make it mandatory for cosmetics that are sold there to be tested on animals. This is generally in the interest of product safety. We do not export to these countries.
Is Liquid Blonde suitable for vegans and vegetarians?
All PRO:VOKE Liquid Blonde products are suitable for vegetarians. The products are not suitable for vegans as they contain keratin from wool.
